Here's my timeline of the history of the (ugh!) 'goggle heads':
Taichi (nickname 'Tai'): first goggle head to wear them
Daisuke (nickname 'Davis'): second goggle head to wear them (his broke, so Tai gave him his); also the only one to wear those of a previous goggle head
Takato: third goggle head to wear them (Rika sometimes calls him 'goggle head'); also the first to wear his own
Takuya: fourth goggle head to wear them; also the second to wear his own
